You can find us at 681 Taboot Street. We are right by Babajaan Dargah Chowk in Pune. This part of the city is always full of life. There are people coming for the Dargah all the time. Being in the 411001 area means we're in the heart of things. The street is narrow and sometimes it gets really crowded with people and bikes. We’ve been here for many years. It’s a family-run kind of thing, nothing too fancy. We just focus on getting the cooking done. The smells from the kitchen usually drift out onto Taboot Street. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us working hard to keep things moving. The chowk is a busy landmark, so we get a lot of foot traffic. It’s a loud area, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. The address 681 is just painted on the wall. Inside, the tables are simple. We don't change much because we like it the way it is. Pune has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner near the Dargah stays mostly the same. We just keep serving the food and greeting the people who walk through the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We stay open late most nights because that's when it's busiest around the Dargah.
