Madhur Sweets

At Madhur Sweets, things stay pretty busy throughout the day. We are located over in Kothrud at 121/122, which is a part of town that never seems to slow down much. The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside to keep things running. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know the routine inside and out. It’s mostly about keeping the glass cases filled and making sure the kitchen stays organized. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that, just the shop floor and the back area where all the cooking happens. People from the neighborhood come in all the time, some just to say hello and others to get their usual snacks. It gets quite warm in the back with the stoves going, but you get used to it after a couple of hours. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. If a batch doesn't turn out quite right, we start over. There is always something that needs cleaning or a delivery that needs to be checked in. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat, but seeing the shop full of people makes it worth the effort. Kothrud is a nice place to be based, and being at 121/122 feels like home to us now. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day.
