Laxmi Mangal Karyalay

Our karyalay is located in Alandi Devachi, right by the Sikkakai Signal on the Outer Ring Road. That intersection gets really busy with trucks and cars going around the city, so we are in a spot that is easy to see. The building is a standard hall for functions and ceremonies. We get a lot of people who want to be near Alandi because it is a holy place, but they need a venue that is easy for guests to drive to from the highway. The 412105 area has been developing quite a bit lately, but we’ve stayed right here by the signal. The hall itself is quite large. We have enough space for a good-sized crowd, and we have the usual facilities for cooking and serving food. It is a lot of work to manage the schedule, especially when the wedding season hits and everyone wants the same dates. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us and a few helpers who make sure the floors are swept and the trash is taken out after an event is over. We aren't trying to be the most modern place, we just want to be a reliable spot where local people can gather for their important family events without any trouble. We have seen many families grow up and come back for different celebrations over the years. It feels good to be a part of the local community.
