Laxmi Mangal Karayalay

Laxmi Mangal Karayalay is out in Kunjirwadi, right on the 1st Main Road. We are situated right across from Marathe Hospital, which is the easiest way to explain to people how to get here. The hall is used for all sorts of things like weddings, birthdays, and local meetings. It’s a big, open room that can hold quite a few people once you get the chairs set up. Being in the 412201 area, we get a lot of people from the surrounding villages and the newer housing developments. It’s not a very fancy place, but it serves its purpose for the community. We have a basic stage at one end and space for food to be served at the other. Running a place like this involves a lot of cleaning up after parties and making sure the fans and lights are working right. We’ve had all kinds of events here over the years. Some are very loud with music and drums, and others are very quiet and serious. We don't really do any big marketing. People just know us because we’ve been here on the main road for a long time. If you need a place for a function in Kunjirwadi, you usually end up talking to us at some point. It’s just a local business trying to provide a useful space for our neighbors to use for their important gatherings.
