Laxmi Cineplex

Running Laxmi Cineplex in Junnar is definitely an experience. We are located over in the Langford Garden area. It’s not like those giant multiplexes you see in the big cities. We are a bit more old-school here. There is always something to do, whether it is fixing a seat or making sure the lobby is clean before the next show starts. People from all over Junnar come here, especially when a big movie finally arrives. You can hear the excitement in the air during the intervals when everyone rushes out for snacks. We spend a lot of our time making sure the projector is running right and that the sound isn't acting up. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind once the movie gets going. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and most of us have been here for years. We know which nights are going to be packed and which ones will be quiet enough for us to catch a bit of the film ourselves. The Langford Garden area is usually pretty calm until the show lets out and then the street gets busy for a few minutes with people heading home. We just take it day by day, making sure the tickets are sold and the lights are working. It’s a simple business, but it is our life here and we wouldn't have it any other way right now.
