Wagholi is where our cinema is located, right near the Karimpura Bajar. It’s a local theater, nothing like those huge multiplexes you find in the expensive city malls. We have a few screens and we show a variety of movies throughout the week for the locals. The building is a bit older, and the lobby is quite small, so it can get very packed when a show is about to start. We have a small staff that works the ticket window and the snack counter every day. We sell the usual things like popcorn, soda, and some local snacks that people like. Keeping the theaters clean is a constant job because people tend to leave their trash behind under the seats after the movie ends. The sound system is loud and the picture is clear enough for everyone to enjoy the film. We’ve been part of the Wagholi community for quite a while now. On weekends, we get a lot of families from the nearby residential areas coming in. Parking can be a real headache because the Bajar area is so cramped, but people usually find a spot somewhere on the side streets. We don't have fancy reclining seats or gourmet food, just a basic way for people to see a movie. We try to keep our ticket prices affordable so that anyone can come and watch a show. It’s a lot of work to manage the projectors, but we do it.
