City Pride Multiplex

If you live near Pune Satara Road in Anand Nagar, you probably know the building. We’ve been showing movies here for years at 692/693. It’s a big place, and keeping it clean is a constant job with all the popcorn people drop. The lobby gets really loud on Friday nights when the new films start. We have a few screens, and the projectors usually behave, though we’ve had our moments where things flicker. The staff is mostly local kids working their first jobs. They try their best to keep the lines moving at the ticket counter. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, and other times it feels like it’s struggling, but that is just how these old systems are. We don't have the fancy reclining leather seats you see in the expensive malls, but the chairs are decent enough for a two-hour show. People come here because it is convenient and they know the area. It is a bit of a landmark for folks living around Anand Nagar. We see families coming in on Sundays, kids running around while the parents try to get snacks. It gets chaotic, but it is a good kind of busy. We just keep the reels spinning and the doors open for anyone who wants to catch a movie without driving across the whole city. It is just a movie theater, nothing more complicated than that.
