Funtime

If you head out to Vadgaon Budruk, you’ll find Funtime. It’s a place where people bring their kids when they have too much energy. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of machines beeping or music playing from one of the games. We spend a lot of time making sure things are working, but with so many people using them, something is usually needing a bit of grease or a quick fix. The floor gets a lot of footprints from people coming in off the dusty road. We have a few staff members who walk around just making sure everyone is doing okay. In the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, it gets pretty bright inside. We don't have much in the way of fancy furniture, just stuff that can handle being bumped into. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you live in the city center, but the locals in Vadgaon Budruk seem to appreciate having somewhere to go on a Saturday. We usually have a pile of lost umbrellas or sweaters behind the counter that people forgot. It’s a messy, loud, and busy place, but that’s just the way an entertainment spot is supposed to be, I think. We just keep the lights on and the games running as long as we can for the folks who visit.
