Apsara

Apsara is located on Shankarsheth Road, right near Market Yard at 36/2. It is a very hectic area with all the trucks bringing in fruit and vegetables. There is always dust in the air from the road and the market activities. We spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and the tables. It is a constant battle to keep things looking decent. We serve things that people can eat quickly. Many of our customers are traders or drivers from the market. They are always in a rush to get back to their vehicles or their shops. We have a big fridge that stays cold all day. I like to stand near it when it gets too hot in the afternoon. The lights inside the shop are a bit bright, but it helps people see the menu clearly. We don't have any decorations on the walls. It is just plain white. We think the food should be the main thing. My father started this place and I just keep it going as best as I can. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. Sometimes the neighbors come in for a chat. It feels like a small community even though the road outside is so big and loud. We just do our work and go home every night.
