La Dolce Vita Restaurant

La Dolce Vita Restaurant is over at Shop No 3 and 4 in the City Point building. This is on Dhole Patil Road, which is a pretty well-known stretch in Pune. We are not too far from Ten Down Street, so there is usually a good amount of foot traffic around this area. The shop itself is tucked into the building, and we have tried to make the most of the space we have there. It’s not a huge place, but it fits enough people to keep us on our toes during the peak hours. Dhole Patil Road can be a nightmare for parking sometimes, so we see a lot of people who are already walking around the neighborhood. The daily routine here involves a lot of cleaning and prep work before the doors even open. We have a small team that has been working together for a bit, so we have a rhythm down for when things get busy. The chairs might not all match perfectly, and the walls have a few marks here and there, but it feels like a real place where people actually eat. We don’t spend much time worrying about being fancy; we just want to make sure the kitchen is running and the orders are going out. It gets a little noisy when the restaurant is full, but that’s just how it goes in a city like Pune. We are just here doing our thing and hoping to get through the day smoothly.
