Krishna Sweets

Our shop, Krishna Sweets, is located on the Wakad Manisha Cross Road. It’s a corner that gets a lot of wind, so we are always sweeping dust away from the entrance. We have a few glass display cases that we spend a lot of time polishing so you can see what we have made that day. The kitchen is right in the back, and you can usually hear the sounds of pots clanking. Wakad has grown a lot lately, and the Manisha Cross Road is much busier than it used to be. We have been here through all those changes. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just us and a couple of helpers. We don't have any flashy lights or loud music playing. Mostly, it’s just the sound of the traffic outside and people chatting. We make sure everything is put away properly before we close up for the night. Sometimes we run out of things early, and other days we have plenty left over. It just depends on the day. We don't overcomplicate things. We just come in, do the work, and try to keep the place looking decent. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it by now. If you are passing the cross road, that is where we are. We just keep things simple and honest for the folks who come in to see us.
