Kothari National School

Kothari National School is located over at Survey No 19 in Kondhwa Budruk, Pune. If you have ever been to this part of Pune, you know how much it has grown lately. There are new buildings popping up everywhere around us. Our school sits on a decent piece of land, and we have been here through a lot of those changes. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with the school buses trying to navigate the narrow lanes before reaching the gate. Once everyone is inside, the atmosphere changes from the noisy street to a more structured environment. The playground is a bit dusty, but it gets a lot of use during the short breaks and after-school hours. Our staff stays busy in the main office handling admissions and the daily logistics of running a school this size. The classrooms have big windows, which is nice for the breeze, though sometimes the noise from the nearby construction comes in. We don't have anything too fancy, just the usual desks, boards, and benches that you’d expect. During the monsoon, the ground gets quite muddy, and we spend a lot of time cleaning up footprints in the corridors. It’s a practical place, and we just focus on the daily routine of teaching and looking after the students. It’s a busy life here in Kondhwa, but we are used to it by now. The tea stall right outside the gate is where many of the drivers wait until it's time to head back home.
