Amans Photography

Amans Photography is based in Saoni Gaurud. It’s a small place in the Amravati district, so everyone kind of knows everyone else around here. I started taking photos because I liked capturing things happening in the village and the fields nearby. Now, I have this little space where people come for their portraits or to talk about events they have coming up. It’s not a fancy studio with huge lights and backdrops. I mostly use what I have and try to make people feel comfortable when they’re standing in front of the camera. Sometimes I travel to other parts of the district if there’s a wedding or a local function that needs covering. My gear is basic but it works for what I need to do. The shop is simple, just a place to edit the pictures and meet folks. In a small town like Saoni Gaurud, word of mouth is how I get most of my work. People stop by to chat or see their prints when they’re ready. I don’t keep strict office hours because if someone needs a photo late in the evening or early morning, I usually just head over. It’s a quiet life here, and I enjoy being able to do this for the local families. The light in the evenings around our district is actually quite nice for pictures if you know where to go. It’s just a small local business.
