Kerure Seasional Fruits & Snacks is at Shop No 2 in the Goodwill Delight Building, which is on Lane No 9 in Vishrantwadi. We do exactly what the name says—sell fruits that come in with the seasons and a variety of snacks that people like to munch on. Vishrantwadi is a busy spot, and Lane No 9 has its own little rhythm. When it's mango season, the whole shop smells like them because we have crates piled up everywhere. Then when that's over, we move on to whatever else is growing. The snacks are there all the time, mostly in jars or packets on the shelves. It’s a small shop, so we have to be careful how we stack things so nothing falls over and breaks. The Goodwill Delight Building is a fairly known spot around here, so people find us without much trouble. We spend our time talking to customers about what's sweet today or which snack is fresh. It’s not a fancy supermarket; it’s just a regular shop where you can see what you are buying before you pay. We have to sweep out the bits of fruit skins or snack crumbs quite a few times a day to keep it looking okay for the next person. It’s a simple life, just waiting for the next season to bring in something new for the shelves. We just keep the shop open and the trays stocked for whoever walks down the lane.
