Kamlapati Hall is right there at Ambedkar Chowk in Daund. It’s a simple hall for the local people here. We get a lot of small events and community gatherings throughout the year. Since we are right at the chowk, it's easy for everyone in town to reach. Daund is a small place, so word usually gets around by itself. We don't spend any money on big ads or flyers. The building is okay, just a bit old. We try to keep the floors swept and the walls looking decent. It’s mostly for middle-class families who need a space that doesn't cost too much. I spend most of my day sitting here. Sometimes it's very quiet, other times it’s very noisy with people talking and shouting. We have a few chairs and the basic stuff you might need for a meeting. Nothing too modern or high-tech. 413801 is our pin code. If you are coming from the railway station, it’s not too far a walk. We just provide the roof and the walls. The people who come here bring the life to the place. It’s been here a good number of years now. My father used to manage things before me. Now I do it. We don't have any big promises to make. You just get what you see when you walk in. It's just a hall. Some people decorate it with flowers, others just leave it plain. Depends on their budget. We stay open late if there is a function.
