Kalyani Mangal Kendra

Kalyani Mangal Kendra is located right on the ground floor of the Gangagiri Co Housing Society. We are Shop Number 1, which makes it easy to find if you are coming from the Alankar Police Station side in Karve Nagar. It is a busy part of Shastri Nagar, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We’ve had this space for years, and it has seen a lot of local events. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but they have held up well through many gatherings. We mostly deal with small family functions and local community get-togethers. The neighborhood knows us as a place that is just there when you need a bit of extra room for a celebration. Dealing with the housing society rules can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially with parking, but we manage. My family started this because we lived nearby and saw a need for a simple space. We do not have a website or fancy brochures. People usually just walk in or call us after seeing the board while waiting at the traffic signal. It is a straightforward setup with chairs and the basic stuff you need. It gets a bit noisy when the police station across the street has a busy day, but that is just life in this part of town. We keep the keys handy and try to be flexible with the timings.
