We run Kalpak Caterers out of Munop Sabhagruha. We are right near the Baramati Hostel in Gokhale Nagar. It’s on Senapati Bapat Road, which stays pretty crowded most of the time. If you know the Senapati Bapat Marg area in 411004, you know it's a fast-paced part of town. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen. There is always something to cook or a list of groceries to get. We don't have a big fancy office. Mostly, it's just us handling the pots and pans. People stop by to talk about their events. We listen and write things down on whatever paper is handy. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially in the afternoons. We've been doing this for a good while now. We know the streets around here well because we are always moving things in and out. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually busy. We don't do much advertising. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or friends. We just try to get the food ready on time. That is the main thing we worry about. Sometimes we run out of supplies and have to dash out to the market. It’s just how a small catering business goes. We stay focused on the work at hand. Every day is a bit different depending on what people want. We just keep our heads down and cook. It keeps the days from getting boring.
