Kalicharan Mandap Decorator

I run Kalicharan Mandap Decorator out of a small space in PMC Colony No 12/B. It’s Room No 40 in Nana Peth, over by the Maninagar Char Rasta. If you know where Milan Hotel or AD Chowk is, then you are close to us. Pune is a big city, but this corner of 411002 feels like a small village sometimes because everyone knows each other. I started doing decorations for local weddings and small parties years ago. We have a lot of bamboo poles, colorful cloths, and lights stored away. It’s not a fancy office; it’s mostly just a place to keep the gear and talk to people who need help with their events. My cousins often help me load the truck when we have a big job. We spend a lot of time out on the streets putting up tents or fixing lights. It can be tiring work, especially when the rain starts and we have to cover everything up quickly. We don't have a big glossy catalog. I just show people photos on my phone of the work we’ve done before. It’s just me and my small crew trying to make things look nice for someone’s special day. We aren't a big company with a hundred employees. We’re just local people who know how to tie a knot and hang a curtain properly. We take things as they come and do the work.
