Kakade Palace Mangal Karyalaya

If you go down to Karve Nagar, right near the Corporation School, you will find our building. We have the space at 89, 90, and 91. It’s a big hall we use for weddings and other local functions. Usually, it’s quiet during the week, but when there is an event, everything changes. We spend a lot of time moving chairs and making sure the floors are swept. It is a lot of work to maintain a place like this. The local weather can be a bit much sometimes, but we just get on with it. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. My family and a few helpers manage the whole place. We have seen so many families come through here for their celebrations. Sometimes the noise from the school next door is a bit much, but it’s just part of the neighborhood. People know where we are because we’ve been here for a while. We don’t have a big marketing team. We just answer the phone and show people the hall when they stop by. It’s a practical kind of business. We worry about things like the lights working and the water supply being enough for a hundred people. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the place tidy and ready for whatever comes next, whether it’s a small meeting or a big wedding feast. It’s just how we run things here.
