Kaka Halwai Sweets

Kaka Halwai Sweets is situated at 721/1 on K K Nagar Road in Navi Peth. We have a lot of history in this area and most people know us for the traditional sweets we make every day. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into it. We spend our days making batches of various sweets, from pedas to jalebis. It is a lot of manual labor, stirring big pots and making sure the syrup is just right. We don't have a team of marketing experts or a corporate office. It is just us and a few workers who have been with us for years. Navi Peth is a great neighborhood, and we get a lot of regulars who stop in after work. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there is a wedding nearby and someone needs five kilos of sweets at the last minute. We do our best to help everyone out. The shop might look a bit old-fashioned compared to the new places opening up, but we like it that way. We don't believe in overcomplicating things. We use the same recipes that have been around for ages. There are no fancy gimmicks here. You walk in, see what is fresh in the glass case, and take what you like. It is a simple way to run a business and keep the neighbors happy with something sweet.
