Kailas Mahim Halwa Bhandar

Kailas Mahim Halwa Bhandar is found over in Vadgoensheri at 18/23. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s a solid little building that serves its purpose. We don’t have any fancy posters or big flashing lights. Most people who come here already know where we are. We just focus on getting through the day. The work is mostly repetitive, but it’s what we know and we do it well enough. We start early when it’s still quiet outside and the air is fresh. Vadgoensheri can be a bit loud once the day gets going and everyone is out. We just stay inside and do our thing. We don’t make any big promises or claims. We just have our shop at 18/23 and we keep it running. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it pours heavily, but we put a bucket under it and carry on. It’s not a corporate office, it’s just a workplace. We know the other shopkeepers around here. We help each other out when someone needs a hand with something. It’s a small community of workers. We don't use any fancy language to talk about ourselves. We are just here, doing the same stuff we’ve done for years. Some days are good, some are just okay. We take them as they come and wait for tomorrow to start again.
