Jayshri Pure Veg

Jayshri Pure Veg is located right on J. M. Road, or Jangali Maharaj Road as it’s officially known, inside the Sapna Hotel building. We are very close to Sambhaji Park, which is a great spot in Pune for people to walk and relax. Because of the park, we see a lot of families and older folks who come in for a meal after their evening stroll. J.M. Road is always packed with students and shoppers, so there is never a dull moment outside our windows. We focus entirely on vegetarian food, and the kitchen is a busy place from morning until late at night. We spend a lot of time preparing the fresh chutneys and rolling out dough for the various breads. The dining area is clean and simple, with enough space for people to sit comfortably. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and the traffic getting heavier, but our spot remains pretty much the same. We have a regular crew of waiters who have been with us for a while, and they know many of the customers by name. It’s a comfortable, local place where you can get a decent meal without any of the fancy city pretension. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking. It’s nice being part of the Pune food scene and seeing the same faces week after week.
