Homemode Choclates

Making chocolates started in our home kitchen in Yerwada. We are located at 129/1/2 on the Old Airport Road. It wasn't really a business at first, just something we did for friends and family during festivals. Then more people started asking for them, so we set up Homemode Choclates. We use the space we have here to melt, mold, and pack everything. It's not a big factory with machines. We do most of it by hand, so the shapes aren't always perfect and the wrapping might have a little crinkle here and there. We use whatever ingredients we can get that day, mostly dark and milk chocolate blocks. The smell of cocoa is always in the house now, which is nice but sometimes it gets a bit much. We don't have a big display case or anything. Most people just call us or drop by the house to pick up their boxes. It is a quiet street usually, except for the traffic from the airport road. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don't use fancy labels with gold foil, just plain packaging that keeps the chocolate fresh. It’s hard work, especially when it gets hot in the summer and we have to keep the fridge running constantly so nothing melts. We are just a local family trying to make something people enjoy eating. We've lived in Yerwada for years so we know the area well.
