Gurukrupa Convent High School And Juniour Collage is located on Khinar Road, just off the Main Road in Panchgani. Since we’re up in the hills, the weather is usually a bit cooler than down in the plains, which makes it a nice place to be. We have both the high school and the junior college here, so we deal with everyone from little kids to older teenagers. The building is spread out a bit, and you have to walk up and down some slopes to get around, which is just how things are in Panchgani. We have a lot of windows to let in the fresh air, and on foggy days, you can barely see the trees across the yard. The staff stays busy managing the two different sections, and there’s always a lot of paperwork to deal with. Our classrooms are plain, just white walls and rows of benches, nothing too elaborate. We don’t have a fancy website or a big office; we just work out of the rooms we have. The students come from all over the local area, some walking and some taking the bus. During the breaks, the older students usually hang out near the gate while the younger ones run around the main courtyard. It’s a quiet life up here for the most part, except when the bell rings and everyone starts moving at once. We like the pace of things here.
