Gurudev Traders

Our shop is Gurudev Traders and you can find us over at Ganesh Peth on the Pune Satara Road. We are in Survey No 156, specifically at Shop No 8 in the Surya Prabha Apartment building. It’s a busy area, especially with all the traffic heading towards Satara. I spend a lot of my time just watching the trucks and buses go by while I work. The apartment building is quite large, so there are always people moving around upstairs or coming down to grab something. Being a trader means I’m always on the phone or checking the latest arrivals. The shop is tucked into the ground floor, so it stays a bit cooler than the street outside, which is lucky during the summer months. I’ve lived in Pune for a long time and seen how Ganesh Peth has changed. It used to be much quieter, but now it’s a hub of activity. I usually keep a small chair outside near the entrance when things are slow. Surya Prabha Apartment has a lot of regular families, so I see the same kids growing up over the years. We keep the shop stocked with whatever is in demand. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work that keeps me busy from morning till night. Sometimes the ledger gets a bit confusing, but I sort it out eventually. That is basically what life is like for us here on the main road.
