Govinda Pure Veg

You can find Govinda Pure Veg right below the Z Bridge near the River Side Road in Pune. It’s a busy little corner of Deccan Gymkhana, especially with the Rambo Circus nearby. We’ve been here for a good while, serving whoever walks through the door. It’s a vegetarian place, and we don’t complicate things. The traffic outside can be quite a lot, but inside it’s just the usual sounds of a kitchen. We have regulars who have been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own families. It’s not a polished corporate chain. It’s just us. The tables are simple and we don’t go in for fancy decorations. We spend our time making sure the food is ready on time. Pune is a fast city, so people are often in a rush. We try to keep up with that. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy near the river road, but we keep the place as clean as possible. It’s a practical spot for a quick meal. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the day. If you’re around Deccan, you’ve probably seen our sign under the bridge. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood where you can get a bite to eat.
