Our place, Gold Fields Organic Pvt Ltd, is located at F - 19 on Alandi Markal Road. We are right in the Anand Cloth Market, which is inside the Parmar Trade Centre. It’s a busy spot, as you can imagine with a cloth market right there. There is always a lot of noise and movement outside our door. We’ve been operating from this unit for a while. It’s a bit of a walk through the centre to find us, but once you’re here, it’s a functional space. We do the organic business work from this office. It’s filled with samples and a lot of ledgers. The air in the trade centre always smells a bit like new fabric. We like being in a place where people are actually doing things. It’s not a quiet corporate park. It’s a real market atmosphere. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing. Sometimes it's answering phones, other times it's checking the inventory. Being on Alandi Markal Road means there's always a truck or a bike passing by. We keep our door open most of the time to let the air in. It’s a bit dusty, but we don't mind. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. We just have our desks and our work. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the tasks and go home. Usually, we wrap things up around six and join the crowd outside.
