Gayatri English Medium School

You can find Gayatri English Medium School up on the 3rd floor of the Gandharv Nagari building. It sits right along the Pune Nashik Highway in Moshi. Because we are on a higher floor, we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice during the warmer months in Pune. The highway is always busy with trucks and cars, but we’ve gotten used to the hum of traffic in the background. It’s a local school where most of our staff lives just a short walk or bike ride away. We don’t have a massive campus with stadiums; it’s more of a compact, functional space where every room gets used for something important. The kids seem to like the view from the windows. We spend our days going through the curriculum and making sure everyone is keeping up. It’s a lot of paper, pens, and talking things through. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs, which keeps us moving. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the world. We just want to provide a solid place for children to learn their English and other subjects without too much fuss. Parents often drop by after work to chat about how their kids are doing. We keep it informal and honest. It’s just a regular school doing its part here in Moshi, helping out the families in our little part of the city.
