Gayathri Sweets

Gayathri Sweets is a small shop located in Dhanakawadi 1. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and it’s a pretty busy little spot. My day usually starts before the sun comes up, getting the first batch of items ready for the morning customers. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful with how we stack the boxes and display the trays. Most of the people who come in are locals who are just picking up something small on their way home from work. We don't do any big promotions or put up giant posters. People just know we are here at Dhanakawadi 1 because they see us every day. It’s a lot of repetitive work, like stirring the pots and packing boxes, but it’s what keeps the business going. We check the fridge every night to make sure everything is cooling properly. Sometimes the street outside is so noisy we can barely hear the customers, but we make do. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. We try to keep things clean, but with so many people coming through, it’s a constant job to sweep the floor. We aren’t trying to do anything fancy here. We just want to provide something nice for the people in the area. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re glad to be part of life here.
