Ganesh Bhel Centre

Our little shop, Ganesh Bhel Centre, is right at Princess Street 1 in Karve Nagar. It’s a corner that gets a lot of foot traffic. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We spend a lot of our afternoon prepping the puffed rice, the chutneys, and all the crunchy bits that go into a good bhel. It’s a simple setup. We have a few stools for people to sit on, but most folks just stand around or take their food to go. Princess Street can be quite busy, so there’s always a lot of noise and people moving about. We try to keep the counter clean, which is a constant job with all the dry snacks we handle. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Some of the kids who used to come here with their parents are now grown up and coming in on their own. It’s nice to see familiar faces. We don't do anything too fancy, just the standard bhel and sev puri that people like. The evening is usually our busiest time when everyone is out for a walk. We just focus on keeping the ingredients fresh and the service quick. It’s a modest business, but it keeps us busy from afternoon until late at night here in Karve Nagar. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop on the street where we work.
