Durga Nonveg

Down at 1523, Perugate Road in Sadashiv Peth, we have our little shop called Durga Nonveg. Sadashiv Peth is one of those old parts of Pune where the lanes are narrow and everything is always moving. 411030 is our pin code. We have been here for a good few years now. The kitchen is small and honestly, it gets quite cramped when we are busy. We don't have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that keep the air moving. Every morning we go down to the local market to pick up the meat. My cousin helps me with the orders and the cleaning. On weekends, the line can get pretty long, and sometimes things get a bit chaotic. We just try to make sure everyone gets their food eventually. We aren't some big chain or a fancy restaurant. It is just this one spot on Perugate Road. Parking around here is a total mess, so most of our customers just walk over from the nearby houses. We use recipes that have been in the family for a while. Nothing fancy, just basic cooking. The address is 1523, Perugate Road, Pune - 411030. We usually stay open until the food runs out, which happens faster on some days than others. It’s a simple life running a shop in Sadashiv Peth. We just do our work and go home at the end of the night.
