Dr. Ketan Khurjekar Medical And Research Foundation is based over on Tilak Road in Sadashiv Peth. It's an old part of Pune with a lot of history, and we're located in the building called White House at 1482. It’s a busy street, especially during the day with all the shops and people moving around. We focus on medical research and helping out with various healthcare projects. Dr. Ketan Khurjekar’s name is on the door, and we try to keep things running smoothly according to the standards he set for us. It isn't always easy because research takes a long time and a lot of patience. The office has big windows looking out onto the street, which is nice but can be a bit distracting with the horns honking. We have a lot of books and papers stacked up everywhere because that’s just the nature of research work. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in at once, but we manage. People stop by quite often to ask about what we’re doing. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where serious work gets done. We spend a lot of time looking at data and trying to find better ways to handle medical issues. Sadashiv Peth is a good spot for us because it’s central, even if finding a place to park a bike is almost impossible. We're just regular people working hard in the medical field.
