Down at Survey No.39 in Narhe Gaon, you’ll find Dnyanganga College Of Engineering & Research. It’s right in the middle of the growing Narhe area in Pune. The road to get here can be a bit bumpy sometimes, and the traffic is definitely something we all talk about over coffee. The college itself is a set of solid buildings that have been around for a while. We have labs where the equipment is always being moved around for various projects. It’s a bit messy at times, with wires and half-built models sitting on tables. We don't have a fancy reception area with marble floors. It’s more about the desks and the whiteboards covered in scribbles. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the start and some newer faces. We all know the best spots to grab lunch in Narhe Gaon. The rainy season in Pune makes the campus look green for a few months, which is nice. Usually, though, it’s just the regular sights and sounds of a busy engineering school. We have some broken chairs in the back that we keep meaning to fix when we get a spare moment. It’s a real place with real people. No one is trying to impress anyone with big words. We just focus on the classes and making sure the students have what they need to get through their exams.
