Dhanlaxmi Sweets

We have been here on Tardeo Road in Bavdhan for a good while now. Every morning starts pretty early for us because we have to get the milk and sugar sorted before the sun is even up properly. It’s a bit of a rush sometimes. Most people around here know us just by the smell of the syrup cooking. We mostly just focus on making the usual stuff people like to have after dinner or for a quick snack during the day. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that. We just have some counters and some trays filled with whatever we made that morning. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon if it’s a busy day. That’s just how it goes here. We don't really do much advertising because the folks living nearby just stop in when they’re passing by. It gets a bit crowded on the weekends especially when families are out. We try to keep things clean and keep the trays full. It's just me and a couple of others working the shifts. Nothing complicated. We just like being part of the neighborhood here. If you’re walking down Bavdhan Tardeo Road you’ll see our sign. It's nothing too big but it’s there. We spend a lot of time just talking to the regulars about their day while we pack up their boxes. It’s a quiet life but we like it this way. It keeps us busy and out of trouble most of the time.
