Bibwewadi has changed a lot over the years, but our spot at 680/3/8 stays pretty much the same. It is easy to miss if you are not looking closely, tucked in among the other buildings. We have spent many years here, watching the street get busier and the shops around us change hands. The mornings are usually the best time, before the midday heat really sets in. We keep a few chairs out for anyone who drops by, though it gets a bit cramped when more than two people are inside. The floor is that old tile that never really looks clean no matter how much you sweep it. My desk is near the window, so I get to see everyone walking past to the market. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for an hour or two, so we just sit and wait it out. It is a humble space, nothing like those big offices you see in the city center. We prefer it this way. It feels more personal, more like a part of the community. Most of the people around here know Deshmane Pritam Vikas just by the location. We don’t go in for anything flashy. We just show up every day, open the doors, and get to work on whatever needs doing. It is a steady rhythm that we have fallen into over the years, and it suits us just fine.
