We have been here in Aundh for quite some time now. Sangavi Nagar 4 is where you will find us. The shop isn't very big, but we manage. Every morning we start early, usually around six, to get the milk boiling. Deepak Sweets is just a simple place. We make the usual stuff like barfi, pedha, and some snacks too. People from the nearby buildings come in during the evenings. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and the counter feels small. We try to keep things clean. There is no big secret to what we do. It is just sugar, milk, and whatever else is needed for the day. My nephew helps me out behind the counter most days. We don't have fancy lights or a big sign. The old fridge makes a bit of noise but it keeps the lassi cold. That is important when it gets hot outside in Pune. Most of our customers are regulars who live just down the street. They know what they want before they even walk through the door. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. If the samosas are hot, people stop by. If not, they go somewhere else. It is a very normal way to run a business. We just stay open until the shutters go down at night. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we like it here.
