Chate School And Junior College

This school and college is situated on Gaud Dara Road in the Katraj area of Pune. Being a junior college as well as a school means we have a real mix of ages here. You’ll see the younger ones in their uniforms and the older students who are a bit more serious about their upcoming exams. The building is designed to fit everyone in, but it can feel a bit full during the peak hours of the morning and afternoon. We are quite close to the main parts of Katraj, so getting here isn't too difficult for the students. The classrooms are set up for lectures, with long benches and big boards for writing. We spend a lot of time preparing for the board exams because that’s what the older kids are focused on right now. The staff room is always a hub of activity with teachers swapping notes and grabbing a quick coffee between their periods. We have a small area for parking cycles and scooters out front which always seems to be overflowing by 9 AM. It’s a practical environment, meant for studying and getting through the syllabus without distraction. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just the essentials for learning. We’ve been operating in this spot for a while now, so we’re a regular part of the local scenery on Gaud Dara Road. It’s a place that stays busy until late in the evening most days as students finish up their practicals.
