Chamunda Sweets

We are located in Bhawani Peth, specifically near Laita Chokdi and the Hare Krishna Circle. Our address is Lalita Society 519. It’s a lively part of town, always something going on near the circle with the traffic and people. Chamunda Sweets has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we keep it busy every day. Every morning is the same routine, unloading supplies and getting the kitchen going. The traffic at Laita Chokdi can get pretty loud, but you get used to the horns and the shouting after a week or two. We spend our days behind the counter, serving whoever walks in. Sometimes it’s a neighbor from down the street, sometimes it’s someone just passing through the society. We don’t have a lot of fancy words to describe what we do here. We just make sweets and sell them to whoever is hungry. The trays get refilled as they go empty throughout the day. We try to keep the place tidy, but when the afternoon rush hits, it’s hard to stay on top of everything. There’s always a bit of sugar on the floor or a smudge on the glass display. That’s just how it is when you’re working fast. We appreciate the people in Lalita Society who come to us regularly for their snacks.
