Operating out of B-1 in the Dev Leela Apartments keeps things interesting. Fatima Nagar is a decent area, but being in an apartment building means we have to be careful about not making too much noise or blocking the hallway with boxes. Brain Controls And Systems is mostly just a few of us surrounded by wires, testing equipment, and a lot of circuit boards. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get a big shipment of components in, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and tweaking control setups. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates, which is just part of living and working in this part of town. There’s a small balcony where we go to get some air when the soldering fumes get to be too much. We aren't really a big corporate firm with a reception desk and someone to answer every call instantly. Half the time, the phone is buried under a manual or a piece of equipment. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they know we’ve been here at Dev Leela for a few years. Lunch is usually whatever we brought from home or something quick from the shops down the street. It’s a quiet routine, mostly. We just focus on getting the controls to do what they’re supposed to do without too much fuss. It's practical work in a domestic setting, basically.
