Our spot is in Lonavla, located in the Vasantraj Apartments. It’s a bit different from being in a big city office because things move a little slower here. The air is definitely better, especially during the monsoon when the whole place turns green and it rains almost every day. The office itself is just a regular apartment we’ve converted into a workspace. We have some desks pushed against the walls and a few old cupboards for the files. It can get a bit chilly in the winter, so we usually have a small heater running or just wear extra sweaters. Lonavla is known for being a tourist spot, so on weekends the traffic outside gets a bit much, but during the week it’s mostly just us and the local residents. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name Tata Technologies Ltd on the door. People who need to find us usually call ahead because the building layout can be a little confusing for first-timers. We spend our days mostly on our laptops and the occasionally patchy internet connection. It’s a quiet place to work away from the noise of Mumbai or Pune. Sometimes monkeys come onto the balcony looking for food, so we have to keep the sliding doors shut. It’s just a practical, local office where we handle our tech stuff without much fuss or fanfare.
