Birla Cement

Our place is located in Sai Hieghts over in the Baner area. If you know Pune, you already know how busy it gets around here. We are Birla Cement, operating out of this building and trying to stay organized amidst all the traffic and noise outside. It is a typical office setup, nothing too crazy or special. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking through lists to make sure the cement gets where it is supposed to go. Baner has grown a lot lately, so there is always some construction happening right outside the window. We have got a small team here. We are not trying to be anything we are not. Most of the day is just routine stuff, like filing papers and talking to the drivers on their mobiles. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but we just make do with it. It is a decent enough spot to work from. We have been here for a bit now, getting used to the rhythm of the city. People drop by sometimes to ask questions, and we just give them the info they need. It is not a showroom or anything like that, just a functional space for us to sit. We do not use much fancy tech, just the usual computers and a lot of notebooks. It gets the job done at the end of the day. We try to keep the desk clutter down, but it usually piles up anyway. (250 words)
