Up here in Pune, specifically at Sasane Nagar, our office for Binani Cement Ltd is tucked into E-306 of Swapnpurti Appartment. We run the local side of things from this apartment office. It feels more like a home than a corporate building, which suits us just fine. We handle the local distribution and talk to the contractors who are building the new housing blocks around the city. Pune has grown so fast, and we’ve seen it happen from this very desk. There is always a pot of tea going and the sounds of the street coming through the balcony. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but we know where everything is. We don't do flashy advertisements here. Mostly, we just answer the phone and help people figure out their cement orders. The traffic in Hadapsar can be a nightmare, so we try to time our site visits carefully. It’s a honest way to earn a living, being part of the city’s growth. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other’s families. It's practical work in a busy part of town, making sure the supply stays steady for the local builders who rely on us.
