Bikaner Delicious Sweets

Bikaner Delicious Sweets is located in Chinchwad at Irani Wadi, specifically at units 15 and 16. It is a busy part of the area and there is always something going on outside the shop. We have these long glass counters that we spend a lot of time cleaning because kids are always putting their hands on them. Inside those cases, we put out the fresh batches of sweets that are made in the back every morning. You can hear the heavy pots clanking in the kitchen from the front of the shop. We have a few benches for people who want to eat their samosas right away, but most people just take a box and head home. The floor is white marble that has gone a bit dull over the years from all the people walking on it. During the festival seasons, it gets very loud and we have to stay open much later than usual. The staff mostly wears plain aprons and we spend the slow hours filling up boxes or checking the stock of nuts and sugar. There is a small sink in the corner for customers to wash their hands, and it drips a little bit if you don't turn it off tightly. We just try to keep the trays full and the floor swept. It is a straightforward shop where the main thing is just getting the sweets packaged and making sure the change is correct at the register.
