I spend most of my time at the shop in Dapodi 12th Cross. It is not a very big place but we have enough room for the trays. Bhojwani Sweet has been around for some years now and people in the neighborhood know the 12th Cross well. Every morning starts the same way with the milk delivery. The stove gets turned on early because the sugar syrup takes time to get right. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud but you get used to it after a while. I sit behind the counter and watch the people walk by on their way to work. We have a few benches but most people just stand and eat or take their bags home. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint maybe next year but for now they are okay. We keep the glass cases clean so you can see what is ready today. It is a lot of hard work especially when it gets hot in the afternoons. My brother helps out with the packing when we get a big rush. We don't do anything fancy here, just the usual stuff you find in a local shop. People come in, they ask for what they want, and we weigh it out on the scale. That is how the day goes from morning until we pull the shutters down late at night.
