Badhai Sweet Corner

You can find Badhai Sweet Corner at Thergaon 22/5/2. It is just a small corner spot that we have been running for a while now. The address 22/5/2 is where we spend the better part of our lives. Thergaon is a growing place and we see new faces all the time. The shop is quite simple with just the basic counters and some shelves for the pre-packaged items. We spend a lot of time cleaning because the sugar attracts ants if we aren't careful. My uncle started this place and now I help him out with the daily tasks. We make the sweets in the back room where it gets very hot. There isn't much ventilation back there but we have a small exhaust fan that helps a little bit. We don't have a menu printed out because the items change depending on what we make that day. Most people just look at the trays and point to what they want. We use a lot of plastic bags and paper wrappers. The mornings are for making and the evenings are for selling. That has been the routine for as long as I can remember. It is not an easy job but it is what we know how to do. We just keep the shop open and wait for the customers to walk in from the street.
