Ashok Enterprises

Ashok Enterprises is based in Shop No 800 inside the Rani Shankar Building. We are right at Ghadikhana Chowk in Shukrawar Peth. If you know where the Dena Bank is, we are very close to that. It is a very lively part of town. There is a constant flow of people and traffic right outside our door. Our shop isn't very large, but we have been here for many years now. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over time. We sell a bit of everything, mostly whatever the people around here are looking for. It is a very traditional way of running a business. We open up the shutters early in the morning and we don't really close until the sun goes down and the streets get a bit quieter. Sometimes the shop gets so crowded that people have to wait outside, but nobody seems to mind too much. We know most of our regular customers by name. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. The Rani Shankar Building is an old structure with a lot of history. We like the atmosphere of Shukrawar Peth. It is busy and loud and full of life. We don't have any big corporate plans or anything like that. We just enjoy being part of the daily life here and helping out the people who stop by our little shop. It’s a good way to spend the day.
