If you head down Sinhagad Road and turn into Arvind Society in Anandnagar, you’ll find us at No. 3/13. This is where Sk Chocolates happens. It’s not a big factory or anything like that, just our local spot where we spend our days making sweets. The air usually smells like cocoa, which is probably the best part of the job. We spend a lot of time with molds and wrappers, making sure everything is packed up and ready to go. It’s a lot of manual work, and our kitchen area is usually busy from the morning until the sun goes down. We don't have any polished sales pitches or corporate branding. We’re just local people making something that we hope others enjoy. Sometimes the temperatures make things tricky, especially in the summer when we have to keep everything cool. The society is a nice place to work from, and we see our neighbors all the time. It’s a pretty small operation, so it’s mostly just us handling the orders and the ingredients. We’ve got our shelves lined with supplies and our cooling racks are usually full by mid-afternoon. It can get a bit chaotic when we have a big batch to finish, but we manage to get through it. It’s a simple business on Sinhagad Road, and we’re happy just to keep making our chocolates and seeing where each day takes us.
