Ambuja Cements Ltd

We are located on the third floor of the Shri Krishna Building in Old Sanghvi. It is tucked away a bit, right behind the Bhagini Nivedita Bank on Anand Nagar road. Working for Ambuja Cements Ltd from this office in Pune is a bit different than being directly on a construction site, but we still feel the heat of the day. It is a walk-up building, so we get our exercise every single day. The space is mostly filled with files, a couple of old computers, and the sound of people talking on their mobiles. We deal with a lot of the planning and the paperwork that keeps the trucks moving through the city. It is not always exciting, but it is necessary work. You can hear the city humming outside the window all day long. We have a small team here. Most of us have been around for quite a while, so we know each other's habits and exactly how we like our tea. We do not have any fancy signs or a big lobby with a receptionist. It is just a place where we get through the daily tasks. Customers call in, we coordinate with the various supply points, and we try to keep things running as smooth as possible. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it. It is a local operation despite the big company name. We are just regular folks.
