Ambuja Cement Ltd

We’ve been over here at Ishwar Krupa Society in Khadki for a while now. Most people know the 6th Mulla Road area, it’s pretty busy most days but we manage. Being part of Ambuja Cement Ltd means we deal with a lot of bags moving in and out every morning. It gets quite dusty, honestly. My desk is usually covered in a thin layer of it by noon, no matter how much I wipe it down. We are right at D101. If you are coming from the main part of Pune, it’s not too hard to find us once you get into the society gates and ask the guard. The neighbors are alright, mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise with the delivery trucks too early. It’s just a regular office setup, nothing fancy at all. We spend most of the day on the phone or checking invoices for various construction sites. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon for us. Dealing with cement isn't exactly glamorous work, but it is what we do here in Maharashtra. People always need to build something, right? So we stay busy. It’s a bit cramped in the office when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. Just a bunch of us doing our jobs and trying to keep everything organized. That’s pretty much the long and short of it for our little spot on Mulla Road.
