Ambika Sweet Home

Ambika Sweet Home is located over at Kasba Peth Vrundavan Park 5. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city. The shop is tucked away a bit. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s mostly just family members involved in the work here. We spend a lot of our time in the back kitchen area. It’s not a polished corporate place with uniforms and scripts for the staff. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, which most of them are. The Vrundavan Park area has changed a lot, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We have some wooden benches where people sometimes sit for a minute while they wait. The display cases are old but they still do the job fine. We don't have a website or any social media. People just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in Kasba Peth. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if people are still coming by on their way home. It can be a bit disorganized during the holidays when everyone wants something at once. We just do our best to keep up with the orders. It’s a simple life running a sweet home. We don't have any big plans to expand the business. We just like being here at number 5, doing what we know for the folks around us.
